Are you looking for an alternative high school education for your teenager? Is your teen struggling with traditional school and would perhaps benefit from a smaller community of peers and mentors in a safe and caring learning environment? St. Luke's Outreach has campuses in Okotoks, High River and Brooks and we are taking inquiries for Fall of 2023. St. Luke's is a unique learning environment, and we would love to meet you to see if we would be a good fit for your child, and if our St. Luke's family would be a good fit for you. To make an inquiry at one of our three campuses, go to www.stlukesoutreach.ca and click "Register" or call Sabrina at 403-995-0287 to set up a visit. We look forward to meeting you. #leavenotoneheartbehind #StlukesOutreach
Happy Friday, St. Luke’s family and extended family! Next week is an important one because we are wrapping up semester 1 and crossing our t’s and dotting our i’s, but it’s also important because Wednesday, January 25, is #bellletstalk day! We will spend the week sharing information, resources and having some important conversations!!! He saves those whose spirits are crushed.” Psalm 34:18 #bellletstalkday #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealth #mentalhealthmatters #letschangethis #together #support #services #research #leavenotoneheartbehind #ctrcatholic #stlukes #faithhopelove #heal

Students and staff driving to school should exercise caution giving them extra time. We apologize for this continued disruption. Last Sunday marked the second Sunday of Advent. 🕯️ The second candle is lit on this day along with the first candle. It is the Bethlehem candle, reminding that Jesus was born in Bethlehem. 🕯️The Second Sunday of Advent our theme is Peace. 🕯️Last week we focused on hope and how we can be the incarnation of that hope to those around us who are hurting. This week as we turn to look at Peace, we see that one way that we can bring that hope into the world is to be peacemakers. “ Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27 #adventcalendar #candlecandleburningbright #peace #bethlehem #mypeaceigiveyou #ohlittletownofbethlehem #hopepeacejoylove
“Tis’ the season to get crafty!” After learning how to save lives, some Okotoks students got in touch with their creative side! December is here and we are decorating Christmas ornaments!! Yesterday marked the first Sunday of Advent! He is coming and it is officially time to prepare! Advent is a season of joy, and anticipation of the Christmas miracle! The first candle in our advent wreath is purple, and it symbolizes HOPE. It is sometimes called the “prophecy candle” in remembrance of the prophets, especially Isaiah, who foretold the birth of Christ. It represents the expectation and hope felt in anticipation of the coming Messiah. Here at St. Luke’s we pray that each of you feels the hope of the season. #advent #candlecandleburningbright #onthiscoldwinternight #hope #prophesy #themessiahiscoming #prepareyourhearts #joy

Siri Danielson received the Christian Witness award. Hailey Brand was named the Ambassador for St. Luke’s for the 2021-2022 school year! It’s one of our core values here at St. Luke’s is to celebrate the gifts of every student and last night, it was our honour to celebrate these particular students. Thank you to all students for making what we do here so rewarding! #awards #faith #hope #love #leavenotoneheartbehind #celebrate #gifts
